Set up your community

Note: This notion shows how to set up Sculptor CPQ Community. If your Salesforce Community isn't set up, check the Salesforce documentation first.

Let’s set up your community profile. First, you need to set the email address FROM which you will send the emails:

  1. Go to Setup (top right gear icon) and choose Setup
  2. In the left Search Bar enter Organization-Wide Addresses and click on it.
  3. Click Add
  4. In the Display Name field enter any name you need (for example, "myEmail")
  5. In the Email Address field enter the email you will send the Quote FROM
  6. Choose Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address and click Save.
  7. You will receive an email confirmation. Go to your Emails, open the email, click on the link and confirm the email (click Continue).

Note: your User’s Email must be the same as in the Organization-Wide Addresses

Then you need to create a contact (if you already have one, skip this) and enable it as a User:

  1. Go to the Contacts object and click New
  2. Fill in the fields. The obligatory fields must be Last Name, Email and Account Name

Now you need to enable this contact as a Community User and login with it:

  1. Go to Setup (top right gear icon) and choose Setup
  2. In the left Search bar, enter "Profiles" and click on Profiles
  3. Clone Customer Community User Profile (name it "Clone Customer Community User" for example), click Save
