Finally, the last builder we have - Quote Builder. It's similar to the Opportunity Builder but has more features and is connected with our powerful automation tool called "Pricing Rules".

To open it, click on the "Edit Lines" button on a chosen quote record or use the Quote Builder tab.

You can see the following components: left sidebar, right sidebar, details section, working space, and chatter. We have reviewed these components in the previous sections and you can refresh your knowledge using hyperlinks in the text. The left sidebar and details section will be described below.

Left sidebar

This sidebar is almost the same as the left sidebar in the Bundle Builder containing bundles in addition to single products. The left sidebar supports the same features as in the Bundle Builder which we discussed earlier:

1. Searching by group and product names.
2. Sorting by any displayed field.
3. Grouping by any field.
4. Has three positions (standard, hidden, and extended).
5. Standard and extended positions are configurable by the fieldsets. A list of fields can be easily configured in the fieldsets of a Product object (Setup → Object Manager → Product object → Fieldsets):

• Sidebar Product Fields - allows you to configure two fields in addition to two standard displayed fields.
• Sidebar Product Fields Extended - allows you to configure six fields in addition to two standard displayed fields.
